Clark International Airport named ‘Airport of the Year – Philippines’ at Asia Travel Awards

Award recognizes CRK's focus on passenger service and regional economic contributions in Central Luzon

Clark International Airport has been named the International Airport of the Year – Philippines at the 2024 TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards – Asia, marking a significant achievement for the Luzon hub.

The award, presented by Travel Daily Media at a dinner ceremony in Singapore on November 26th, recognizes the airport’s efforts in providing exceptional passenger services and contributing to regional economic growth in Central Luzon.

Airport officials attribute the win to the implementation of Minimum Performance Specifications and Standards (MPSS) ensuring global quality benchmarks, along with ongoing passenger feedback initiatives and audits conducted in partnership with Airports Council International (ACI).

Clark International Airport is a member of ACI, an organization representing over 2,100 airports globally.

The TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards – Asia recognizes achievements across various sectors of the travel and tourism industry, focusing on innovation, customer experience, and industry leadership.

The prestigious awards also recognized several notable airports and airlines across Asia. Changi Airport Group from Singapore claimed the top Airport of the Year in Asia, while Air India Express won the Brand Initiative of the Year for India. Other standout performers included Myanmar Airways International, named Full-Service Airline of the Year, and Trans Maldivian Airways, recognized as the Seaplane Airline of the Year for the Maldives.
