Budget carrier Cebu Pacific will increase flight frequencies on select domestic and international routes from its major hubs in the Philippines, starting in December, to meet anticipated demand during the peak travel season, the airline confirmed Friday.

Cebu Pacific told AUP that its hubs in Cebu, Clark, Davao, Iloilo, and Manila will primarily see increased flight frequencies across domestic and international routes for the holiday season, aiming to make it easier for Filipinos to travel and celebrate.

Expanded domestic flights

Across the domestic network, more flight options will become available. Flights between Cebu and Cagayan de Oro will increase to seven daily flights in December, while the Cebu-Butuan route will see three daily flights. Cebu-Caticlan and Cebu-San Vicente routes will also have expanded schedules.

From Clark, passengers can expect 10 flights weekly to Davao and nine flights weekly to both Iloilo and Tagbilaran. Further enhancing connections, Davao-Zamboanga will increase to 18 weekly flights, Iloilo-Zamboanga to four weekly, and Manila-Tacloban to six times daily.

International flights boost

Cebu Pacific is also expanding its international services. Long-haul flights from Manila to key destinations will see significant frequency increases. Dubai will be served 10 times per week, Melbourne four times per week, and Sydney will have daily flights.

Numerous shorter international routes will also have additional flights. Cebu-Hong Kong will have flights twice daily. Additionally, daily flights will be available from Manila to both Kuala Lumpur and Macau.

Other international routes will also see increases: Cebu-Bangkok and Davao-Bangkok will each operate five times weekly; Cebu-Narita will have 10 weekly flights; Clark-Narita, nine; Iloilo-Singapore, three; and Manila-Hanoi, 11.

The upcoming holiday season is traditionally a peak travel period, with many Filipinos taking advantage of extended breaks to visit family and friends or explore new destinations.

The increased flight frequencies provide passengers with more travel options and flexibility in scheduling. Cebu Pacific operates an extensive Philippine network with flights to over 60 destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, offering convenient connections through hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, Iloilo, and Davao.
