Korean budget airline Aero K to launch flights to Cebu

New route marks carrier's third Philippine destination

Korean low-cost carrier Aero K is set to expand its presence in the Philippines with the launch of a new route to Cebu starting October 5, 2024.

The airline will operate twice-weekly flights between Cheongju International Airport and Mactan-Cebu International Airport using Airbus A320 aircraft.

According to schedule information from AeroRoutes, flight RF523 will depart Cheongju at 21:10 local time on Tuesdays and Saturdays, arriving in Cebu at 00:40 the following day.

The return flight, RF524, will leave Cebu at 01:40 on Sundays and Wednesdays, landing in Cheongju at 06:55.

This new service marks Aero K’s third destination in the Philippines, complementing its existing routes to Manila and Clark.
