Emirates has significantly broadened its reach in the past year, doubling the number of cities accessible beyond its network through partnerships. Now, travelers can connect to nearly 1,700 additional cities, with an average of over 61,000 passengers utilizing these expanded connections weekly.

The airline achieved this through new and enhanced partnerships, encompassing 31 codeshare agreements, 118 interline arrangements, and 13 rail and helicopter service collaborations. With 162 partners in over 100 countries, Emirates offers a wider network, streamlined itineraries, baggage transfers, frequent flyer benefits, and lounge access.

“In the last year, we’ve doubled down on our strategy of deepening our global presence and expanding our footprint across six continents by forging new partnerships,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates Airline Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer.

“While organic growth will always [be] at the heart of our plans, we’ll continue to leverage the strength of our partners’ complementary networks as part of our commitment to help our customers reach every corner of the globe in the easiest way possible.”

Recent partnerships include codeshares with Avianca and Batik Air Malaysia, and interline agreements with several airlines, including KAM Air, Sri Lankan Airlines, Condor, Flynas, and Kenya Airways. Emirates also partnered with European rail companies like Trenitalia and Renfe, and the urban air-mobility company BLADE for helicopter connections between Nice and Monaco.

Emirates’ partnership with flydubai is a prime example of successful collaboration, offering access to over 230 destinations across 100 countries. Over 17.5 million passengers have benefited from this partnership since its launch in 2017.

Other notable partnerships include those with United, Air Canada, and Qantas, providing extensive access to North and South America, Australia, and New Zealand. Emirates continues to expand connectivity through strategic alliances in regions like the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Emirates Skywards, the airline’s loyalty program, and Emirates SkyCargo are also integrated into these partnerships, ensuring benefits for both passengers and cargo customers.
