Meteorological Aerodrome Report
METARs, or Meteorological Aerodrome Reports, is a format of reporting weather information within the vicinity of a specific aerodrome. METAR displays crucial weather information such as wind direction, wind speed, gusts, cloud cover, temperature, air pressure, among others. They are used primarily in aviation and meteorology.1
