Cebu Pacific has announced a major investment in its operational infrastructure, signing an agreement with Lufthansa Systems to adopt its next-generation NetLine suite for operations control and crew management. The partnership was formalized at the Paris Air Show on June 16, 2025.

This strategic move will provide Cebu Pacific with advanced tools for flight operations, crew planning, and real-time disruption management. The NetLine operations control system analyzes vast amounts of data—including weather, airspace restrictions, and aircraft performance—to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact customers.

The new system also features a sophisticated crew management solution, developed with technology firm ROIS/Pi. It utilizes machine learning and high-speed optimization to streamline crew rostering, ensure robust resource planning, and promote a more balanced and predictable work life for flight and cabin crews.

For Cebu Pacific, this investment is expected to yield significant benefits, including reduced operational costs, improved on-time performance, and enhanced customer satisfaction. The platform will optimize aircraft assignment, simplify crew scheduling, and strengthen regulatory compliance, providing a solid foundation for the airline’s growth beyond its current fleet of nearly 100 aircraft.

“This partnership is central to enabling the scaling of our operations,” said Mike Szücs, Chief Executive Officer of Cebu Pacific. “We’re investing in the internal infrastructure with world-class systems that will enhance safety, operational resilience, efficiency and crew wellbeing as we grow our fleet and expand our network.”

Lufthansa Systems welcomed the new collaboration, with Chief Executive Officer Stefanie Neumann stating, “We are proud to support Cebu Pacific’s ambitious vision. Together, we’re building a scalable, future-ready operations platform.”

Implementation of the NetLine suite is set to begin this year. The project will establish a fully integrated operations platform, empowering Cebu Pacific to scale with confidence as it continues to expand its presence in the Philippines and across Asia.
