Scoot, the low-cost arm of Singapore Airlines (SIA), has announced plans to increase flight frequencies and passenger capacity on several routes, responding to robust demand for air travel in the coming months. This expansion includes significant additions to its Philippine network.
Starting June 6, 2025, Scoot will double its services to Iloilo City, increasing flights from two to four times weekly. This will be followed by an increase in Cebu flights from seven to ten times weekly, effective June 24, 2025.
Further enhancing its Philippine presence, the airline will boost its Davao services from nine to twelve times weekly, commencing August 30, 2025. These changes aim to provide more travel options for passengers to and from these key Visayan and Mindanaoan hubs.
Beyond the Philippines, Scoot is also expanding its operations across the Asia-Pacific region. Flights to Perth will increase to 14 times weekly from August 4, 2025, and Sydney services will see a similar rise to 14 times weekly from October 5, 2025.

Other notable increases include Koh Samui, with services growing to 25 times weekly from June 24, 2025. Additionally, flights to Taipei and Seoul (via Taipei) will become daily services from August 2, 2025, up from five times weekly.
The airline also highlighted recent service enhancements implemented since March and April 2025. These include increased flight frequencies to Jakarta and Phu Quoc, as well as the deployment of larger aircraft to boost passenger capacity on routes like Bali, Taipei, and Tokyo (via Taipei) using Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and Yogyakarta using Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Scoot stated its commitment to continually enhancing its network and connectivity, remaining agile in adjusting capacity to meet evolving travel demand. The airline also mentioned that limited-time promotional fares to selected destinations are available on its website and mobile app.
All new flight schedules are subject to government and regulatory approvals or changes. Passengers are encouraged to visit Scoot’s official website for the latest flight information and bookings.
