American aviation headset manufacturer Kore Aviation has entered the Philippine flight training market through a partnership with Harris Aviation Solutions Philippines Inc.
The KA-1 headset will now be included in pilot starter kits across flight schools throughout the Philippines. This marks Kore Aviation’s first expansion into the Asian aviation training market.
Harris Aviation Solutions CEO Harris Camposagrado selected the KA-1 as a core component of student pilot kits. “The KA-1 is a perfect fit for student pilots: reliable, comfortable, and built to perform under rigorous training conditions,” he said.
The KA-1 headset offers 24 dB of passive noise reduction and includes a noise-canceling microphone for clear communication. Students benefit from dual volume controls and gel ear seals for extended wear during long training sessions.
The headset features an AUX input for direct connection to aviation apps like ForeFlight, enabling real-time alerts and navigation cues during flight training.
“This marks a key milestone for Kore Aviation as we expand our reach into Asia,” said Min Kim, CEO of Kore Aviation. “We’re honored that our KA-1 headset will be part of the learning experience for so many future pilots.”
The partnership is effective immediately. Flight schools working with Harris Aviation Solutions can now access Kore Aviation headsets as part of their standard training kits.
