AirAsia Philippines is actively supporting the shift from “Laboracay” to “Love Boracay,” partnering with tourism stakeholders for the Love Boracay 2025 festivities. The airline encourages guests to embrace responsible and purposeful travel to ensure the island’s beauty endures for future generations.
As the event’s official airline partner, AirAsia focuses on promoting accessibility and equal opportunities within tourism. The airline is collaborating with local partners to support barrier-free adventures and empower visitors to fully experience Boracay.
“We take pride in being this year’s official airline partner… We remain strongly committed in our partnership with the local government and tourism stakeholders in pushing for initiatives that will be both beneficial in ensuring the continued success of the travel and tourism industry,” stated AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer Ricky Isla.
Isla noted AirAsia flew approximately 1.3 million guests to Caticlan and Kalibo in 2024, emphasizing its role in boosting local economic activity.
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia-Frasco expressed gratitude for the partnership, stating, “The Department of Tourism looks forward to the ‘Love Boracay’ initiative… As we invite travelers to rediscover the enchanting beauty of Boracay, we emphasize that under the Marcos Administration, we remain committed to our mission of ensuring that our tourism industry remains sustainable, inclusive, and globally competitive.”
She added that responsible tourism and enjoyable travel can coexist.
To celebrate Love Boracay, AirAsia is offering a special Php 544 one-way base fare to Caticlan. This promotion is available for booking until May 4, 2025, valid for travel between April 7 and September 30, 2025.
