Emirates announces special Easter celebrations onboard and in lounges

Airline offers themed meals, treats, and enhanced entertainment for travelers during the holiday period

Emirates is embracing the festive spirit by introducing special offerings for Easter and Orthodox Easter celebrations this month. Passengers traveling with the airline between April 18 and 21, 2025, can expect themed treats onboard and in select lounges globally.

From April 18 to 20, customers flying on routes to various destinations, including the Philippines, Australia, Europe, the UK, and the USA, will enjoy Easter delights. These include hot cross buns, Easter bread, and special desserts like carrot cake or chocolate mousse, depending on the route and class. Younger travelers will receive a colorful Easter egg-shaped biscuit.

Passengers relaxing in the A380 Onboard Lounge during this period can also savor traditional simnel fruitcake and Easter-themed cupcakes. Additionally, specific routes to Russia and Greece will feature Orthodox Easter specialties like herb-crusted lamb and Kulich bread for premium cabin customers from April 18-20.

The Easter celebrations extend to Emirates’ lounges worldwide between April 18 and 21. Lounges in Dubai, for example, will serve dishes like tender lamb chops in the First Class lounge and a rich lamb stew in the Business Class lounge, complemented by Easter cookies and chocolate desserts.

To keep passengers entertained during their journey, Emirates’ award-winning ice system offers over 6,500 channels. Featured content includes new family movies such as Wicked, Mufasa: The Lion King, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, alongside popular kids’ shows and recent blockbuster films like Dune: Part 2.

These seasonal offerings aim to enhance the travel experience for Emirates customers during the Easter holiday period. All details are based on the official press release from Emirates.
