Philippine Airlines (PAL) recently celebrated its top travel agency partners from the Philippines and across the globe. The flag carrier hosted the prestigious PAL Awards Philippines and PAL Awards International from March 3 to 7, 2025, at the Discovery Samal Resort in Davao City.

This is the first time in PAL’s 84-year history that both local and international agents were honored together in one venue. These annual awards recognize the vital role travel partners play in promoting tourism and supporting PAL’s business success.

The PAL Awards Philippines took place on March 3 and 4, gathering over 150 attendees from 54 local travel agents and service companies. Honorees received performance awards and attended presentations by DOT Region XI Director Tanya Rabat-Tan and key PAL executives.

A special networking session allowed overseas partners and local industry leaders to explore new opportunities for promoting travel to the Philippines. These collaborations leverage PAL’s extensive network of nonstop flights, facilitating better connectivity.

“Our success in connecting global citizens and Filipinos to the places and people that matter is the product of a strong collaboration with our travel agency partners around the world,” said PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng.

“To our partners, we honor you for your commitment and unwavering support, and we are grateful for your dedication and trust which lift up Philippine Airlines to soar higher every year.”

Awardees also experienced Davao’s attractions through an exclusive tour organized in partnership with DOT Region XI. Visits included the Philippine Eagle Center, Malagos Garden Resort and Chocolate Museum, and the Poblacion Market.
