Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced a major boost to its Clark hub operations by upgrading its services to Siargao and Basco to daily flights starting May 1, 2025. The expansion represents a welcome increase from the current thrice-weekly and four-times weekly schedules respectively.

The enhanced connectivity aims to provide travelers from Central Luzon more flexible options when visiting the popular surfing paradise of Siargao Island and the picturesque province of Batanes. Both destinations have seen growing demand as premier Philippine tourist hotspots.

“Looking forward to the peak summer season, we are eager to invite more travelers to embark on unforgettable leisure and cultural adventures in Basco and Siargao by flying any day of the week on our direct flights from Clark International Airport,” said PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang in a statement.

The PAL executive emphasized that these daily services reflect the airline’s dedication to promoting Philippine tourism while supporting local communities and businesses across the country.

This expansion comes alongside other recent network developments from the flag carrier. PAL has already initiated daily flights between Clark and Busuanga (Coron) as of March 1, further strengthening its domestic network from Clark.

Additionally, the airline launched its pioneering Cebu-Catarman route on March 4, with initial operations set at three times weekly. This marks the first-ever nonstop service between these destinations.

The Clark-Siargao service will operate daily with flight 2P-2875 departing Clark at 1:45 p.m. and arriving in Siargao at 3:50 p.m. The return flight, 2P-2876, will leave Siargao at 7:15 a.m. and land in Clark at 9:15 a.m.

Prior to May 1, the route will maintain its current schedule with flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, departing at 10:35 a.m. from Clark and 1:10 p.m. from Siargao.

For the Clark-Basco route, flight 2P-2688 will depart Clark daily at 9:45 a.m., reaching Basco at 11:15 a.m. The return flight, 2P-2689, will leave Basco at 11:45 a.m. and arrive in Clark at 1:15 p.m.

The current four-weekly service (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) will continue until April 30, with departures at 10:35 a.m. from Clark and 12:40 p.m. from Basco.

Travelers interested in booking these flights can visit PAL’s official website at www.philippineairlines.com, use the PAL mobile app, call the PAL hotline at (+63) 2 8855 8888, or contact their preferred ticketing offices and travel agents.
