Cebu Pacific welcomed its first aircraft delivery for 2025 on Friday, a brand-new Airbus A330-941 registered RP-C3910 (MSN 2087). Having made its first flight only earlier this month on March 6, the aircraft is factory fresh.

The A330neo completed its delivery journey non-stop from the Airbus facility in Toulouse, France. It departed on March 27 and touched down at Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila around 9:20 AM on March 28, after just over 14 hours in the air.

To celebrate the arrival, Cebu Pacific hosted a special planespotting event, giving aviation enthusiasts a first look at the new widebody jet.

This 459-seater aircraft is the first of four A330neos scheduled to join the airline’s fleet this year. According to Cebu Pacific, a total of seven new aircraft deliveries are anticipated throughout 2025, signalling continued growth for the carrier.

“We are thrilled to welcome our first aircraft delivery for 2025. The arrival of our latest A330neo strengthens our operational resilience, allowing us to serve more passengers while continuing to offer affordable and sustainable air travel,” Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated.

Lao added the airline looks forward “to bringing dream destinations closer to every Juan with this addition to our fleet.” The A330neo, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, offers the airline increased operational flexibility for regional routes, potential long-haul services, and high-demand domestic sectors.

The aircraft is part of Airbus’ latest NEO (New Engine Option) generation. These modern planes burn approximately 15 percent less fuel per flight and produce significantly less noise compared to previous generation aircraft, contributing to more sustainable operations.

This delivery supports Cebu Pacific’s strategy of maintaining one of the youngest fleets globally. The airline operates a diverse mix including Airbus A330s, A320s, A321s, and ATR turboprop aircraft.
