Cebu Pacific recently celebrated its top-performing travel agency partners at the 19th annual Eagle Wings Awards. The event, held on March 11, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Iloilo City, recognized agencies from the Philippines and across the globe.

A total of 52 agencies from countries including Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, and the UAE were honored. Cebu Pacific President Xander Lao emphasized the crucial role these partners play in expanding travel opportunities and connecting people to new destinations.

“Each of you plays a crucial role in expanding travel opportunities, connecting people to new destinations, and enriching experiences for countless passengers. You’re a driving force behind every journey, every reunion, and every new chapter that begins with a flight,” Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer, told the awardees in his speech during the awarding ceremony.

In appreciation of their support, Cebu Pacific hosted a social night for the travel agents, co-presented by the Tourism Promotions Board. The event, held on March 12, provided networking opportunities for agents.

“None of these achievements would have been possible without your unwavering dedication and support. Your hard work and commitment have played a crucial role in shaping unforgettable travel experiences for our passengers. You are not just our partners; you are an essential part of Cebu Pacific’s success story,” Arlene Tena, Cebu Pacific Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution, told the travel agents.

Iloilo City was chosen as the venue to highlight its growing importance as a Cebu Pacific hub. The airline operates flights to 14 destinations from Iloilo, including recently launched routes to Hong Kong and Singapore, with Bangkok-Don Mueang service starting March 31.
