A training aircraft operated by Fliteline Aviation successfully executed an emergency landing in Plaridel, Bulacan on Wednesday morning following an engine failure, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

The aircraft, identified as a Piper PA-38-112 Tomahawk with registration number RP-C1085, was carrying a flight instructor and a student pilot when the incident occurred. Both occupants emerged unharmed from the forced landing.

CAAP has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the engine malfunction that led to the emergency landing. The aviation authority has not yet released specific details about the flight’s origin, destination, or the exact location of the landing site within Plaridel.

The Piper Tomahawk is a popular two-seat aircraft primarily designed for flight instruction, touring, and personal use. Fliteline Aviation operates as a flight training organization based in Plaridel, providing instruction to aspiring pilots.
