Philippine Airlines (PAL) has successfully implemented Ramco Systems‘ Aviation Software for its domestic PAL Express (PALEx) fleet operations.
The implementation comes two years after the initial partnership agreement was signed in February 2023 as part of PAL’s Accelerated Initiatives for Recoveries and Full Optimization through Innovation and Leadership (AIRFOIL) program.
According to the announcement, Ramco’s cloud-based platform has optimized and digitized operations for PALEx’s A321, A320, and Q400 aircraft. The airline is now preparing to extend the solution to the main PAL fleet, which includes A350, A330, B777, and A321 aircraft.
“The go-live of Ramco Aviation Suite marks a critical step in enhancing our digital infrastructure and operational capabilities,” said Rabbi Vincent L. Ang, President of PAL Express. “As the airline industry faces increasing demand, Ramco Aviation Suite enables us to improve aircraft availability, automate business processes, reduce costs, and obtain actionable insights.”
The implemented system includes modules for Engineering and CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization), Supply Chain Management, Maintenance Planning, Quality, Component Maintenance, and Hangar Maintenance, integrated with Finance functionality.

The new platform serves as a centralized information hub for managing multiple Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) and Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs), while providing visibility into materials, resources, and tools. PAL also highlighted the enhanced traceability of aircraft technical records as a key benefit.
Digital features including mobile applications have contributed to process efficiencies and provided data-driven insights for decision-making, according to the announcement.
“We are proud to provide PAL with a cutting-edge solution that aligns with their growth objectives and delivers enhanced performance across their operations,” said Sam Jacob, Senior Vice President & SBU Head of Aviation, Aerospace and Defense at Ramco Systems.
The implementation represents a transition from standalone legacy systems to an integrated platform designed to support regulatory compliance and enable sustainable digital operations.
Ramco Aviation Software currently serves 90+ aviation organizations globally, managing approximately 4,000 aircraft with 24,000+ users. The system includes features such as digital task cards, offline maintenance capability, and AI-based solutions.
