HK Express will resume daily direct flights between Hong Kong and Ishigaki, Japan beginning April 3, 2025, the airline announced on February 14, 2025.

The budget carrier will operate daily service on the route with flight UO-812 departing Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) at 7:35 a.m. and arriving at Ishigaki Airport (ISG) at 10:40 a.m. local time. The return flight, UO-813, will depart Ishigaki at 11:35 a.m. and arrive in Hong Kong at 12:50 a.m. daily.

This service marks HK Express’ return to Ishigaki, giving travelers two gateway options to Japan’s Okinawa Prefecture alongside the airline’s existing Naha route.

To promote the route launch, HK Express is offering promotional one-way ‘Lite’ fares starting from HKD148, including one small personal item and one cabin bag. The promotion runs from February 14-16, 2025, for travel to Ishigaki between April 3 and October 25, 2025. Similar promotional fares are available for the airline’s Naha route for travel between February 24 and October 25, 2025.

Tickets for the new service can be booked through the airline’s official website, mobile app, or WeChat mini-program.
