The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has announced applications are now open for the Aeronautical Information Service Comprehensive Course (AISCC), a program designed to train personnel who will manage critical flight safety data.

Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) specialists play a vital role in aviation safety by collecting, processing, and distributing essential data used by air navigation and flight operations personnel throughout the Philippines’ airspace system.

According to CAAP, qualified applicants must be natural-born Filipino citizens with a Bachelor’s degree in any course. Those with backgrounds in IT or Computer Science-related fields are preferred.

Additional requirements include being no more than 30 years old by July 19, 2025, proficiency in English, being physically and mentally fit with good moral character, no criminal or administrative convictions, no dishonorable discharge from previous employment, and not being color blind.

The CAAP urges everyone, especially interested individuals, to contribute to the safety and security of the aviation industry. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and timely dissemination of aeronautical data for safe air navigation.
