Avianca to launch direct Dallas-Bogotá flights in May

Avianca will begin offering direct flights between Dallas, Texas, and Bogotá, Colombia, on May 26, 2025. The airline announced the new route, which will operate four times weekly using Airbus A320 family aircraft, offering a total of 1,440 seats per week.

According to Avianca, flights from Bogotá (BOG) to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will depart at 7:30 a.m., arriving at 1:20 p.m. Dallas-Bogotá flights will depart at 2:50 p.m., arriving at 8:15 p.m. The service will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

“We continue to strengthen connectivity across the Americas, offering our customers more options to travel directly between the United States and Colombia,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America, Central America, the Caribbean, and Europe.

“We are excited to give travelers a new way to reach Bogotá from Dallas, adding to our 21 routes between the U.S. and Latin America during peak seasons,” he added.

Avianca currently operates numerous routes between the United States and Colombia, connecting cities such as Miami, Orlando, New York, and Fort Lauderdale with Medellín, Cartagena, Cali, and Bogotá. The airline also serves Barranquilla from Miami.

Tickets for the new Dallas-Bogotá route can be purchased through the Avianca website, the airline’s mobile app, the Contact Center, and travel agencies.
