Budget carrier AirAsia Philippines has announced an extensive three-week promotional campaign for January 2025, featuring discounted fares to key domestic festival destinations, as the carrier seeks to build upon its passenger growth from the previous year.

The campaign begins with the AirAsia Fiesta Promo, offering one-way base fares starting at PHP88 to popular festival destinations including Kalibo, Cebu, and Bohol. The promotion, which runs until January 5, 2025, has made available over 800,000 seats for travel through June 30, 2025.

“January in the Philippines marks a significant time to kick off the year with vibrant festivities and celebrations,” said AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla. “We want to support our guests in fulfilling their bucket lists in 2025, driving increased demand for air travel and helping us surpass the 7 million passengers flown in 2024 with a strong focus on our domestic leisure routes.”

The airline has demonstrated strong performance in festival-related travel, having transported 265,000 passengers to festive locations such as Kalibo, Cebu, and Bohol during a two-week period in January 2024. Building on this success, AirAsia Philippines has secured a partnership as the official airline for the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival in January 2025.

The carrier’s promotional strategy aligns with its broader expansion efforts within the aviation and leisure sectors. AirAsia Philippines continues to operate as part of the larger AirAsia group, which maintains licenses across five ASEAN countries and serves more than 130 destinations through its network.

Passengers interested in taking advantage of these promotions can book through the AirAsia MOVE app, which provides a centralized platform for flight bookings and travel management. The airline plans to announce additional promotional offers throughout January 2025.
