AirAsia launches nationwide seat sale, partners with Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan Festival

Airline offers flights starting at PHP 188, announces free concert featuring Spongecola during festival celebrations

AirAsia Philippines announced its third consecutive promotional campaign of the year, offering flights starting at PHP 188 across its network, while simultaneously strengthening its cultural engagement as the official airline partner of Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan Festival.

The latest promotion, dubbed “Widest Network Low Fares,” will run from January 13 to 19, 2025, making available 523,830 seats for travel between February 3 and November 30, 2025. Key routes in the promotion include flights to Kalibo, Cebu, Iloilo, Seoul, and Bangkok (Don Mueang).

The announcement follows the airline’s previous “AirAsia Fiesta Promo” and “25% Off on All Seats, All Flights” campaigns launched earlier this month, indicating an aggressive start to the year for the carrier’s marketing initiatives.

As part of its partnership with the Ati-Atihan Festival, traditionally known as the “Mother of All Festivals,” AirAsia Philippines will host a free concert at Magsaysay Park on January 16, 2025. The event will feature performances by Filipino band Spongecola, artist Kyle Echarri, local performers, and the airline’s employee group, AirAsia Allstars.

For peace and order, the Philippine National Police has confirmed security deployment for the event, according to AirAsia.

“As the leading airline in Kalibo, we remain committed to our mission of enhancing accessibility and stimulating travel to our key destinations by supporting the rich cultural heritage of the communities we serve,” said AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla.

The airline currently operates three daily flights between Manila and Kalibo, with the earliest flight arriving at 11:00 a.m. and the latest at 9:05 p.m.
