Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced that all Cebgo (DG) flights operating to and from Manila will transfer to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 from Terminal 4 effective November 7, 2024, joining other carriers in a broader terminal reorganization.
The terminal reassignment affects Cebgo’s domestic routes connecting Manila to key destinations including Boracay, Cebu, Coron, Legazpi, Masbate, Naga, San Jose, Siargao, and Surigao. Cebu Pacific’s mainline operations under the 5J flight code will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 3.
The move coincides with similar relocations by AirSWIFT and Sunlight Air to Terminal 2, scheduled for November 5 and 6, respectively. These changes come as Terminal 4 is reportedly preparing for temporary closure next month to undergo renovation work.
“This move is part of CEB’s ongoing collaboration with the New NAIA Infrastructure Corp. (NNIC) to help improve the overall efficiency of operations at NAIA,” Cebu Pacific said in a statement. The NNIC, which recently assumed control of NAIA operations, aims to streamline airport operations and implement long-term improvements.
The carrier advised passengers to verify their flight numbers and terminal assignments on their itinerary receipts and boarding passes. Travelers are encouraged to allot additional time when heading to the airport to ensure smooth check-in and boarding processes.
Passengers can update their contact information through the airline’s Manage Booking portal at www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking to receive timely flight updates and reminders.
