New parking rates at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will take effect on October 1, 2024, as announced by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC).

NNIC says the adjustment comes in line with the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Revised Administrative Order No. 1, Series of 2004.

According to a memo seen by Aviation Updates Philippines, the new rates will apply to cars, motorcycles, and buses.

For cars, the first two hours will cost PHP50, with succeeding hours charged at PHP25 per hour or fraction thereof.

Motorcycle parking will be PHP20 for the first two hours, followed by PHP10 per hour.

Bus parking rates are set at PHP100 for the initial two hours and PHP50 per hour thereafter.

Overnight parking fees for a 24-hour period are PHP1,200 for cars, PHP480 for motorcycles, and PHP2,400 for buses.

NNIC General Manager Angelito A. Alvarez stated in the memo that “these adjustments are necessary to ensure continued maintenance and improvements to our facilities.”

This change affects all NAIA terminals and parking areas under the corporation’s management.

Separately, the NNIC confirmed in a Sept. 26 Facebook post that passenger fees at NAIA are also scheduled to increase in September 2025.

These pre-determined government increases will see domestic terminal fees rise from PHP200 to PHP390, and international fees from PHP550 to PHP950.

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) will remain exempt from international departure fees.

NAIA’s new operator, in a report from the Philippine News Agency, also noted that increased aeronautical charges for airlines will likely result in higher airfares, which are part of a larger plan to modernize the airport.

The NNIC, a consortium led by San Miguel Holdings Corp. in partnership with Incheon International Airport Corp., took over NAIA’s operations and maintenance on September 14, 2024.

The group has committed to investing PHP170.6 billion for rehabilitation and upgrades, offering an 82.16 percent revenue share to the government.

  • Dirk, thanks a lot! I have a problem. I owe a midrange motorcycle (500 cc) and I never know where I can park it in NAIA 3; security guards have thrown me away from every regular parking area: we motorcyclist seem to be the squalors of the road. After some research, I discovered that the Parking Extension of NAIA 3 accepted us on dirt but now, no more. Where can I keep my motorcycle for 3 days during the coming holidays? Thanks a lot!
