Emirates seeks Filipino cabin crew in new recruitment drive

Emirates announced a new recruitment campaign for Filipino cabin crew members, set to launch on October 17. The Dubai-based carrier, known for its luxury inflight offerings, is looking to expand its multicultural team, with Filipinos already comprising a significant portion of its cabin crew workforce.

Currently, over 775 Filipinos work as cabin crew for Emirates, placing them among the top 10 nationalities represented in the airline’s diverse team. The company cites Filipino workers’ innate hospitality, strong work ethic, and helpful nature as key attributes that align with their service standards.

An Emirates press release stated, “Emirates hopes that through this recruitment campaign, the airline will be able to attract aspiring cabin crew members who can help deliver the world-class inflight experience that we are known for throughout the world.”

The airline offers a range of benefits to its crew, including tax-free salary, profit-share eligibility, furnished accommodation in Dubai, and travel perks. Emirates also emphasizes opportunities for career growth, with the potential for crew members to advance to purser positions or transition to other departments within the company.

While Emirates promotes Dubai as an attractive base for its employees, potential applicants should independently research living and working conditions in the UAE. The airline’s recruitment efforts come as the aviation industry continues to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, with many carriers expanding their workforce to meet renewed travel demand.
