Cebu Pacific, the country’s leading budget carrier, is strengthening its Iloilo hub with the launch of three new domestic routes, enhancing inter-island connectivity and making air travel more accessible.
The airline will begin daily flights between Iloilo and Tagbilaran on December 1, followed by the Iloilo-Daraga (Legazpi) route on December 2, with three weekly flights. Flights between Iloilo and Dumaguete will commence on December 3, also operating three times a week.
“We are excited to introduce three new domestic routes from Iloilo, which comes just in time for the holiday season when many Filipinos go the extra mile to visit loved ones in different provinces,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
“At Cebu Pacific, we continue to explore new opportunities to bring every Juan closer together as we remain committed to making air travel more convenient and affordable across the Philippines.”
With these additions, Cebu Pacific will operate flights to 14 destinations from Iloilo, including existing international routes to Hong Kong and Singapore.
The new routes offer travelers convenient access to popular tourist spots such as the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, the Cagsawa Ruins in Legazpi, and diving opportunities around Apo Island from Dumaguete.
