Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced Tuesday a promotional fare sale for its newly established routes from Iloilo, offering base fares starting at 1 peso for flights to three domestic destinations.
The promotion, running until October 31, covers direct flights from Iloilo to Tagbilaran, Daraga (formerly Legazpi), and Dumaguete, with a travel period from December 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025.
The airline’s network expansion in Iloilo begins with daily flights to Tagbilaran starting December 1. Services to Daraga and Dumaguete will commence on December 2 and 3, respectively, with three weekly flights for each route.
This domestic network growth follows Cebu Pacific’s recent international service resumption from Iloilo. On October 27, the carrier restarted its Hong Kong route, operating four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The inaugural flight event was attended by regional officials including Department of Tourism Western Visayas Regional Director Crisanta Marlene Rodriguez and Iloilo City Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon.
The airline has also resumed its Iloilo-Tacloban service and launched new flights to Zamboanga on October 28. A Singapore route is scheduled to restart on November 25, further expanding Iloilo’s international connectivity.
The expansion of Iloilo route network comes on top of Cebu Pacific’s regional hub expansion, with new flights added from Manila, Clark, Cebu, and Davao hubs for the winter schedule.
