AirAsia Philippines has reported a significant increase in bookings for both domestic and international travel as the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day holiday approaches. The airline has already sold over 50,000 seats for the travel period from October 30 to November 3, with expectations of further growth in the coming week.

The top destinations for travelers include a mix of domestic and international locations, with Boracay, Cebu, and Taipei leading the list. Other popular destinations include Bohol, Tacloban, Puerto Princesa, Incheon, Narita, Iloilo, and Bangkok.

First Officer Steve Dailisan, AirAsia Philippines Communications and Public Affairs Head, noted a shift in travel patterns. “While the season is traditionally observed to commemorate departed loved ones, we’ve seen that some guests visit early, allowing them to use the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day holidays for leisure travel,” Dailisan said.

He added that beach destinations remain popular for domestic travelers, while countries offering shopping, food, and cultural experiences attract international guests.

To accommodate the expected influx of holiday travelers, AirAsia Philippines has increased its staffing at NAIA Terminals 2 and 3. “We will always be committed to fulfill our brand promise of reaching guests safely and on time,” Dailisan stated.

The airline is also running a promotion called “LFG AirAsia Blowout!” from October 1 to November 29. Flights booked during this period and registered via the AirAsia MOVE app will be entered into a raffle for free flights, hotel vouchers, and AirAsia points.

AirAsia Philippines currently serves 12 domestic and 13 international destinations. The airline operates under AirAsia Aviation Group Limited and offers its products through the AirAsia MOVE platform.
