Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced plans to reopen flights between Clark and Siargao starting December 3, 2024. The thrice-weekly service aims to provide easier access to the popular island destination for residents of Central and Northern Luzon.
PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang said, “We are excited to be able to fly and welcome leisure travelers back to Siargao via Clark once again.” He added that the airline remains committed to supporting Siargao’s tourism growth sustainably.
The new route will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using an 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft. Flights from Clark will depart at 11:00 AM, arriving in Siargao at 1:05 PM. Return flights will leave Siargao at 1:35 PM, landing in Clark at 3:40 PM.
Noel Manankil, President and CEO of LIPAD Corp, which manages Clark International Airport, welcomed the new service. He stated, “Siargao enthusiasts can anticipate beginning their island getaway immediately upon arrival at Clark International Airport, where we practice stringent performance measures and monitoring to ensure fast airport processes and a seamless experience for all passengers.”
The Clark-Siargao route joins PAL’s expanding Clark hub network, which includes daily flights to Cebu, four weekly flights each to Basco and Busuanga (Coron), and thrice-weekly flights to Caticlan (Boracay). This new service complements PAL’s existing twice-daily flights to Siargao from Manila and Cebu.
Passengers interested in booking flights can contact the PAL Hotline, use the PAL mobile app, visit the airline’s website, or reach out to travel agents for reservations and inquiries.
