Philippine Airlines (PAL) will expand its Cebu-Borongan-Cebu service with an additional weekly flight starting September 18, 2024. The new flight, scheduled every Wednesday, will bring the total to three weekly flights, offering passengers more travel flexibility between the two destinations.

The updated flight schedule is as follows:

  • 2P 2651 (Cebu-Borongan): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, departing Cebu at 11:05 AM and arriving in Borongan at 12:00 PM.
  • 2P 2652 (Borongan-Cebu): Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, departing Borongan at 12:30 PM and arriving in Cebu at 1:20 PM.

Flights between the two cities are flown aboard the 86-seat De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 operated by PAL Express.

This development aims to provide more convenient travel options for passengers flying between Cebu and Borongan, with three flights now available each week.

The flag carrier launched flights between Cebu and Borongan on December 19, 2022, making PAL the only commercial airline presently flying direct to capital of the province of Eastern Samar.

For reservations and inquiries, PAL encourages customers to reach out through its 24/7 customer support channels, including its hotline, mobile number, Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, and web chat.
