JetBlue Airways plans to open its first airport lounges at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) as part of its strategy to expand premium offerings and perks for loyal customers.

The JFK lounge, spanning 8,000 square feet, is scheduled to open in late 2025 in Terminal 5. The 11,000-square-foot Boston lounge in Terminal C will follow shortly after, though an exact date was not specified.

Access to the lounges will be primarily reserved for JetBlue’s most loyal customers and premium credit cardholders. Complimentary access will be granted to holders of a new premium JetBlue credit card (details forthcoming), TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, and transatlantic Mint customers.

“Customers have asked for a JetBlue lounge for years and we can’t wait to unveil our take in New York and Boston,” said Marty St. George, president of JetBlue.

The lounges will feature three distinct areas: “Play” for socializing, “Work” for productivity, and “Lounge” for relaxation. Amenities will include a full-service bar, private workspaces, and complimentary food and beverage offerings.

JetBlue is also enhancing its TrueBlue loyalty program. Starting in 2025, Mosaic members who have earned 250 tiles will receive two additional Move to Mint certificates for every 100 tiles earned, allowing them to upgrade to the airline’s premium Mint service more frequently.

The introduction of airport lounges and new loyalty perks comes as JetBlue aims to strengthen its position in leisure and premium leisure travel on the East Coast. The airline recently announced an expansion in New England, including additional frequencies on popular leisure routes from Boston Logan.
