AirSWIFT cancels multiple flights due to inclement weather

Regional carrier affects routes to El Nido, Cebu, Busuanga, Manila, Clark, and Caticlan

AirSWIFT Airlines, a regional airline in the Philippines, has announced the cancellation of numerous flights on September 16, 2024, citing inclement weather conditions.

The cancellations affect routes connecting several key tourist destinations and major cities in the country.

The airline has canceled a total of 22 flights, including:

  • T60012 Manila – El Nido
  • T60336 El Nido – Cebu
  • T60337 Cebu – El Nido
  • T60538 El Nido – Busuanga
  • T60539 Busuanga – El Nido
  • T60149 El Nido – Manila
  • T60114 Manila – El Nido
  • T60126 Manila – El Nido
  • T60127 El Nido – Manila
  • T60130 Manila – El Nido
  • T60210 El Nido – Clark
  • T60211 Clark- El Nido
  • T60147 El Nido – Manila
  • T60121 El Nido- Manila
  • T60142 Manila – El Nido
  • T60143 El Nido – Manila
  • T60158 Manila – El Nido
  • T60410 El Nido – Manila
  • T60411 Caticlan – El Nido
  • T60159 El Nido- Manila
  • T60172 Manila – El Nido
  • T60173 El Nido – Manila

Passengers affected by the cancellations have been offered two options:

  1. Free one-time rebooking on the next available flight or within one year.
  2. Full refund of the ticket cost, excluding travel insurance (if applicable).

    The airline advises that refund processing may take approximately 15-30 working days upon confirmation, with the actual time potentially varying depending on the acquiring bank.

    AirSWIFT stated that it will provide updates and advisories through the email addresses and contact numbers provided by passengers during booking.

    As weather conditions can change rapidly, travelers are advised to check with the airline for the most up-to-date information on their flights.
