AirAsia Cambodia will inaugurate a new route connecting Siem Reap to Singapore on November 9, 2024, marking another step in the airline’s expansion plans for the region.

The daily flight will depart Siem Reap at 8:45 a.m., arriving in Singapore at 12:00 p.m. The return flight will leave Singapore at 12:40 p.m., landing in Siem Reap at 1:55 p.m.

Bo Lingam, CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group, said, “This new route direct to Singapore signifies the start of a broader Group strategy supporting the revival of the tourism industry and a new era for international services to and from Cambodia.”

The new service is part of AirAsia’s efforts to enhance travel connectivity within the ASEAN region. The airline group currently operates over 130 destinations worldwide.

Vissoth Nam, CEO of AirAsia Cambodia, stated, “We have strong expansion plans to fly further to and from our great Kingdom in the future, providing guests with even more value and choice.” Nam also mentioned the possibility of launching a direct route between Phnom Penh and Singapore in the future.

The airline’s expansion aligns with the Cambodian government’s vision of establishing more direct flights from major global tourist destinations to Cambodia.

His Excellency Prak Sophoan, Governor of Siem Reap Provincial, commented, “This is a significant announcement by AirAsia Cambodia as we work hard to revive our foreign tourism numbers since the pandemic.”

AirAsia Cambodia began operations in May 2024 and has since witnessed strong demand for its services. The airline hopes that the new route will contribute to Cambodia’s tourism and economic development goals.

Travelers can book flights for the new route starting today. Fares from Singapore to Siem Reap begin at SGD 139 for a one-way ticket, while fares from Siem Reap to Singapore start at USD 109 one-way.
