Singapore Airlines (SIA) announced network adjustments for the 2025 Northern Summer operating season, including increased flight frequencies to several destinations. The changes will take effect from March 30, 2025, to Oct. 25, 2025.

SIA will increase its London Gatwick service to daily from five times weekly. Combined with its four daily flights to Heathrow, SIA will offer five daily services to London. Rome flights will increase to five times weekly between June 26, 2025, and Aug. 28, 2025, from the current four weekly flights.

The airline will delink its three-times weekly Singapore-Milan-Barcelona flights from June 24, 2025, to Sept. 7, 2025. SIA will instead operate five-times weekly direct flights to Barcelona and daily service to Milan.

Flights to Adelaide will increase to 10 times weekly across the Northern Winter 2024 and Northern Summer 2025 seasons. Ho Chi Minh City will see frequencies rise to thrice daily, and Siem Reap will have twice-daily services.

SIA will also mount a three-times weekly service to Johannesburg from Dec. 11, 2024, to Jan. 10, 2025, and from April 2, 2025, to Oct. 24, 2025, for a total of 10 weekly flights.

“Singapore Airlines regularly reviews our network and routes to align our capacity with demand,” said Mr. Dai Haoyu, Acting Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines. “These adjustments, ahead of next summer, cater to the higher demand to several destinations, particularly during the traditional mid-year peak travel season, enabling our customers to confidently make their 2025 travel plans.”

The Airbus A380 will return to Tokyo Narita on one of its two daily services between March 30, 2025, and May 31, 2025. The A380 will be replaced by the Boeing 777-300ER on flights to Mumbai from July 28, 2025, to Aug. 31, 2025, and Delhi from June 23, 2025, to July 27, 2025.

SIA will suspend services to Houston via Manchester from April 1, 2025, but maintain five-times weekly service between Singapore and Manchester.
