Philippine Airlines (PAL) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have signed a partnership to promote travel to Singapore throughout the coming year. The collaboration aims to highlight PAL’s services and Singapore’s diverse attractions through various campaigns and promotions.

The partnership includes content creation featuring lifestyle influencers and a limited-time seat sale. Travelers can expect special deals on airfare bundled with accommodation and experiences.

Capt. Stanley Ng, President and Chief Operating Officer of PAL, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Philippine Airlines is thrilled to once again partner with Singapore. Its dynamic culture has inspired the travels of countless Filipinos across our years of operations.”

Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of STB, emphasized the Philippines’ importance as a key market for Singapore. “The Philippines is one of Singapore’s key markets and has recovered strongly with the support of longstanding partners like Philippine Airlines,” Ow said.

In 2023, the Philippines ranked as Singapore’s sixth-largest source market for tourism, with nearly 700,000 visitor arrivals, marking an 84% recovery compared to 2019 figures. As of June 2024, Singapore has welcomed close to 390,000 Filipino visitors.

New attractions awaiting travelers in Singapore include:

  • Bird Paradise, a wildlife park featuring over 400 bird species
  • illumi, described as the world’s largest multimedia illumination event, scheduled for September 2024
  • Harry Potter: Visions of Magic, an interactive art experience coming in Q4 2024
  • Minion Land in Universal Studios Singapore, set to open in Q1 2025
  • Disney Adventure by Disney Cruise Line, planned for 2025

The partnership aims to build on the existing tourism recovery and further strengthen Singapore’s position as a destination for Filipino travelers.

PAL currently operates scheduled flights to 31 destinations in the Philippines and 37 destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East.
