Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced on Monday the launch of a new route connecting Clark International Airport to Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The daily service, set to begin on October 21, 2024, marks the carrier’s seventh direct domestic destination from its Clark hub.
The expansion aims to improve connectivity for travelers from north and central Luzon, making Bohol more accessible without the need to transit through Manila.
The Clark-Tagbilaran route follows Cebu Pacific’s impending resumption of flights from Clark to Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, and Puerto Princesa. The carrier also operates domestic flights to Caticlan and Cebu, as well as international services to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo (Narita), and Singapore from Clark.
To promote the new route, Cebu Pacific is offering a seat sale until August 15, 2024, with one-way base fares starting at 1 peso, excluding fees and surcharges. The travel period for these promotional fares is from October 21, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The airline’s expansion comes as the Philippine aviation industry continues to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
