As the new academic year commences, Cebu Pacific has launched a series of initiatives to support local schools across the Philippines. These efforts, which include classroom renovations and donations of essential supplies, highlight the airline’s commitment to community engagement.

Over 50 Cebu Pacific volunteers participated in a revitalization project at Andres Bonifacio Elementary School (ABES) in Pasay City. Their efforts focused on cleaning and painting classrooms and enhancing the school’s garden to create a more conducive learning environment for students.

“Through these efforts, [Cebu Pacific] not only enhances the learning environment for students but also strengthens its ties with the communities it serves,” the airline stated in a press release.

The airline, in partnership with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), also provided support to ten other schools across the country. These schools, nominated by Cebu Pacific employees, received essential supplies, furniture, and appliances.

This initiative reflects the airline’s ongoing corporate social responsibility program, contributing to educational development within the communities it serves.
