Philippine Airlines (PAL) organized a two-day wellness event to honor its flight attendants on International Flight Attendant Day 2024, which was held on May 30 and 31 at the PAL Inflight Center in Pasay City.

Over 800 cabin crew members, including those on duty, on reserve, and in training, participated in the event, which featured various relaxation, wellness, and entertainment activities.

“With our cabin crews’ daily grind of ensuring the well-being and safety of our passengers, our specially-prepared PAL International Flight Attendant Day celebration is our way of giving back to our key frontliners,” said Alvin Miranda, PAL vice president for marketing.

The event included physical activities such as basketball and hammer games, as well as performances by guest emcees and the PAL Cabin Services Dance Group. PAL executives, led by President and Chief Operating Officer Capt. Stanley K. Ng, attended the celebration.

“We are grateful to the Company for supporting and recognizing our dedicated frontliners for representing PAL’s distinct brand of service,” said Gerry Rustia, PAL assistant vice president for cabin services. “This event is a ‘first’, and we look forward to celebrating this day in this novel way in the years to come.”

The event was organized by PAL Marketing in coordination with PAL Cabin Services and was supported by various event partners, including BYS Cosmetics Philippines, Frontrow Philippines, and several food and beverage companies.
