Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways has announced a major international recruitment campaign to hire hundreds of pilots in 2024 and 2025. The airline aims to support its expanding fleet and network as part of its growth strategy.

The recruitment roadshow will initially cover eight European cities, including locations in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania, Romania, Hungary, Poland, and Lithuania. Etihad plans to expand the campaign globally in the coming months.

As we embark on this pilot recruitment roadshow, we’re proud to showcase everything that both Etihad and Abu Dhabi have to offer, and we are seeking pilots who share in our ambitions.

John Wright, Etihad Airways Chief Operations & Guest Officer

The airline is looking for pilots of all ranks and aircraft types, including those qualified for Airbus A320, A350, and A380, as well as Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft.

Etihad is also encouraging pilots who do not yet meet their criteria but are interested in future opportunities to attend the roadshow or register online.

Etihad projects doubling its fleet size by 2030 compared to 2022 levels. The company states this growth will offer significant career progression and promotion opportunities for pilots.

The recruitment drive comes as Etihad continues to expand its network. In June, the airline launched flights to Bali, Jaipur, and Al Qassim, along with seasonal routes to destinations such as Mykonos, Santorini, Nice, Malaga, and Antalya.
