Delta Air Lines will be offering its Delta Premium Select cabin on select flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) starting September 10, 2024.

This marks the first time Delta Premium Select will be available on domestic U.S. transcontinental flights.

Passengers flying Delta Premium Select will experience more legroom and a wider seat with additional recline for enhanced comfort.

The cabin will also offer amenities such as memory-foam pillows, noise-canceling headsets, and self-care kits.

Diners can pre-select their meals featuring curated menus from Union Square Events (JFK to LAX) and Jon & Vinny’s (LAX to JFK).

Delta Premium Select will be available on four of Delta’s 11 daily peak-day flights between LAX and JFK on Boeing 767 aircraft.

The airline expects to expand the service to include more JFK-LAX frequencies later this year.

“Delta Premium Select will bring a new level of comfort and practicality to one of Delta’s most important routes,” said Mauricio Parise, Vice President of Brand Experience Design at Delta.

“This product has been a success internationally, and we know that customers flying between New York and Los Angeles will enjoy the opportunity to treat themselves to a more spacious seat and premium experience.”

In addition to the introduction of Delta Premium Select, all flights between JFK and LAX will have fast, free Wi-Fi powered by T-Mobile by the end of September.
