Jin Air, a low-cost carrier based in South Korea, is expanding its international route network with the introduction of daily flights between Seoul-Incheon International Airport and Bohol-Panglao International Airport, starting July 18th, 2024.

The new service will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with flight LJ-043 departing Seoul at 10:05 PM and arriving in Tagbilaran at 1:35 AM the following day. The return flight LJ-044 is scheduled to leave Tagbilaran at 2:35 AM and land back in Seoul at 8:15 AM.

According to AeroRoutes.com, a leading aviation data provider, the daily schedule will see a temporary reduction to four weekly flights during specific periods in September and October 2024 (September 3-11, September 24-October 2, and October 11-26).

Jin Air’s expansion into Bohol underscores the growing demand for air travel between South Korea and the Philippines, particularly to popular island destinations like Bohol.

The airline currently operates flights to several destinations in the Philippines, including Cebu and Clark. Jin Air previously operated flights to Kalibo, a gateway to Boracay.

With the addition of Bohol, Jin Air aims to strengthen its presence in the Philippine market and cater to the increasing number of travelers seeking affordable and direct connections between the two countries.
