Cebu Pacific (CEB) is increasing its flight offerings to Bangkok, Thailand with the launch of a new route to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) starting July 16, 2024. This expansion provides travelers with more options and flexibility when planning their trips to the popular Southeast Asian destination.
The new service will operate three times a week – every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday – departing from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Manila.
The Don Mueang route brings Cebu Pacific’s total flights between Manila and Bangkok to 17 per week, supplementing the existing twice-daily service to Suvarnabhumi Airport.
“Bangkok remains one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia,” acknowledged Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer. He highlighted the city’s appeal, stating, “its majestic pagodas, flavorful cuisine, and vibrant cultural festivals attract many travelers.”
Lao emphasized the airline’s commitment to accessibility, stating that the launch of DMK operations reflects their dedication to “continuously provide accessible and affordable air travel.”
Bangkok holds a significant place in Cebu Pacific’s network, being one of the airline’s first international destinations with the inaugural Manila-Bangkok service commencing in 2006.
Beyond Manila, the airline also offers daily direct flights between Clark and Bangkok.
Cebu Pacific currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 24 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
