Air France is expanding its global network for the 2024-2025 winter season, adding three new destinations and extending service to two U.S. cities.
The French carrier will launch thrice-weekly flights from Paris to Salvador, Brazil on October 28 using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This will become Air France’s fifth destination in Brazil.
During the year-end holidays from December 20 to January 5, Air France will operate up to two weekly flights to Malé, Maldives using A350-900s.
The airline is also adding a weekly Saturday flight to Kiruna, Sweden starting December 21 with A319 aircraft. Kiruna will be Air France’s fifth destination in Lapland.
“Salvador, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, will be Air France’s 5th destination in Brazil,” said the press release. “By winter 2024, Air France will operate up to 30 flights a week to and from Brazil.”
Additionally, Air France will extend its summer service to Denver and recently launched Phoenix route with three weekly flights each during winter.
“After Rovaniemi, Kittilä, Tromsø and Narvik Lofoten, Kiruna will be Air France’s 5th destination in Lapland. Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is an ideal starting point to experience the region’s pristine nature,” the release stated.
