Philippine Navy helicopter crashes near market, killing two aviators

A Philippine Navy Robinson R22 helicopter crashed near Cavite City Public Market on Thursday morning, according to the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

In a report from INQUIRER.net, the AFP confirmed the crash through a Viber message to reporters.

A PN Robinson R22 trainer helicopter conducted an emergency landing this morning in the vicinity near of Cavite City Public Market. The two navy aviators were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment but succumbed to their injuries.

According to the AFP, the crash killed two navy aviators, who were initially rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.

The cause of the incident is not yet determined pending investigation.
