Fire engulfs 19 vehicles at NAIA Terminal 3 carpark

On Monday, April 22, 2024, a fire broke out at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 parking extension, resulting in damage to 19 vehicles.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has reported that the fire allegedly originated from a grass fire.

MIAA Rescue and Firefighting Division [is] still conducting mopping operations and [is] determining the real cause of the incident.

Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in relation to the incident.

The fire was extinguished at 1:57 PM, ensuring the safety of all individuals present.

Despite the incident, operations across all four NAIA terminals remain largely unaffected.
