Emirates has been awarded the ‘Best Inflight Entertainment’ title at the 2024 Airline Excellence Awards, hosted by AirlineRatings.com. The airline stood out for its extensive entertainment library, boasting over 6,500 channels of movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, and more.

“Our editors were unanimous in their praise for Emirates ice system as a step above,” said Geoffrey Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of AirlineRatings.com. “That early investment in inflight entertainment has paid off for Emirates and just when you think it can’t do it better – it lifts the bar once again.”

The award-winning ‘ice’ system offers a diverse selection of content, catering to a global audience.

Passengers can enjoy Hollywood blockbusters, international films, documentaries, TV series, and even live sports coverage.

Notably, the system also features content specifically curated for Filipino travelers, including popular movies and music from local artists. Passengers can access 15 Tagalog movies and around 24 albums or playlists featuring Filipino content.

Emirates emphasizes accessibility, offering closed captions and audio descriptions for visually impaired passengers. The airline also provides specially designed headphones for children and adults, compatible with hearing aids.

Emirates continuously updates its inflight entertainment offerings, adding new content monthly and forging partnerships with leading content providers. Passengers can personalize their experience by pre-selecting movies and shows on the Emirates app before their flight.

The AirlineRatings.com Airline Excellence Awards are evaluated based on a robust criteria, including product and safety ratings, passenger reviews, and overall profitability.

Emirates operates 25 weekly flights from Manila, Cebu, and Clark to Dubai, connecting Filipino travelers to over 140 destinations across its global network.
