South Korean budget airline Aero K is set to broaden its international network with the introduction of a new route from Cheongju to Manila, starting May 13, 2024.

This move marks a significant milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy, reinforcing its commitment to providing affordable and convenient travel options.

The new service will operate three times a week, utilizing Aero K’s 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft.

This addition to Aero K’s route network is expected to boost tourism and foster stronger ties between South Korea and the Philippines.

Flights from Cheongju to Manila will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, departing at 10:50 PM (UTC+9) and arriving at 1:35 AM (UTC+8) the following day.

The return flights from Manila to Cheongju will take off every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 2:35 AM, landing in Cheongju at 7:15 AM.

This new route marks Manila as Aero K’s second destination in the Philippines, following the successful launch of the Cheongju-Clark service in November 2023.
