German airline Lufthansa is expanding its European network this summer, adding new destinations from Munich and Frankfurt.
The additions include Trondheim (Norway), Nantes (France), Oulu (Finland), and Chișinău (Republic of Moldova).
Starting April 28th, Lufthansa will offer twice-weekly flights from Munich to Trondheim, Norway’s third-largest city. This provides a new option for travelers seeking a long weekend getaway in the far north.
Lufthansa will also connect Munich to Nantes, a historic city on the Loire estuary in France. Three weekly flights begin April 28th, complementing existing service from Frankfurt and making it an ideal starting point to explore Brittany and the Atlantic coast.
Oulu, the largest city in northern Finland and the northernmost major city in the EU, will now have twice-weekly summer service from Munich. This builds upon the city’s popularity as a Lufthansa winter destination.
Finally, Lufthansa resumes flights to Chișinău, the capital of the Republic of Moldova. Five weekly departures from Frankfurt begin April 29th.
These additions reflect Lufthansa’s commitment to providing diverse travel options and strengthening its European network. As travel rebounds, the airline’s new routes offer exciting opportunities for exploration.
