Cebu Pacific ranked among top employers for fresh graduates in PH

290

Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific has been recognized as one of the top employers for fresh graduates in 2024. The ranking was released by Prosple, a Sydney-based careers and education technology company.

Cebu Pacific is the only airline to make it to Prosple’s list of top 100 employers for fresh graduates this year, jumping from 88th place in 2023 to 19th this year. Prosple’s rankings are based on page views, applications on their website, and feedback on the quality of programs for fresh graduates.

Prosple highlighted Cebu Pacific’s work culture, which helps fresh graduates enhance their communication skills and confidence. Despite the fast-paced nature of the aviation industry, Prosple noted that Cebu Pacific’s supportive leadership makes the work manageable.

Felix Dan Lopez, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Human Resources Officer, stated,

Being included among the best employers for fresh graduates in the Philippines is a testament to Cebu Pacific’s commitment to provide an impactful, relevant, and excellent work experience for our Moment Makers, while nurturing a workplace environment that feels like a family.

Over the years, Cebu Pacific has continuously improved its employee engagement initiatives, offering online and offline modes of learning and organizing activities to strengthen camaraderie among its staff.

The airline has also sought to make the workplace even more inclusive through equal employment opportunities and programs that celebrate individuality.

In 2023, Cebu Pacific received the Best Employer Brand at the LinkedIn Talent Awards, recognizing its strong commitment to engaging talents in a meaningful way. The airline was also a finalist for the Diversity Champion category.
