In a fortunate turn of events, both the student pilot and flight instructor onboard were reported safe and unharmed.

The aircraft RP-C2673 was conducting a touch-and-go training flight between Plaridel Community Airport and Subic Bay International Airport at the time of the incident.

Upon receiving the news, the CAAP Operations Center and the Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Center (PARCC) were promptly alerted.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation and Inquiry Board (AAIB), the aviation regulator’s investigative body, has been dispatched to the crash site to spearhead the investigation.
