Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific and UNICEF Philippines announced that their joint Change for Good campaign has raised an impressive ₱91 million since its launch in 2016. The initiative invites passengers to donate spare change onboard Cebu Pacific flights.

The funds raised directly support UNICEF programs dedicated to providing vulnerable Filipino children with education, health care, and humanitarian aid. In 2023 alone, the campaign raised ₱10.9 million.

Candice Iyog, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer of Cebu Pacific, said:

Our partnership with UNICEF has allowed us to channel the collective goodwill of our passengers into meaningful initiatives that will positively impact the lives of Filipino children.

Meanwhile, Oyunsaikhan Dendevnorov, UNICEF Philippines Representative, stated:

Children have the right to a better and brighter future. Our partnership with Cebu Pacific has helped support our work so that every Filipino child can grow up healthy, educated, and protected.

According to Cebu Pacific, the airline stands as the first and only airline partner of UNICEF in Southeast Asia for the Change for Good campaign and is the sole local carrier actively raising funds to support children within the Philippines.
